The design seeks to create a sculptural gateway sensitive and complementary to the scale and natural beauty of the surrounding landscape. The daffodil is re–interpreted as a yellow LED light swaying on tall tubular stems of Coreten steel. The daffodils would be introduced in their hundreds as a drift complementary to the existing daffodils already present within the surrounding landscape.
