A ‘Strategic Gap’ analysis for a Local Plan Inquiry.
This study reviewed the potential effects of development on the openness, coalescence, setting and identity of an area of land to east of Hethersett in Norfolk. The analysis involved a detailed visibility mapping and coalescence study and assessment of the Council’s proposed Strategic Gap boundary. The study informed the location of a revised boundary and was submitted to the local planning inquiry as part of representations by the client.
