A redevelopment study for a high profile site in Bristol.
This brownfield site, located in south Bristol, occupies a gap between two areas of housing, with a derelict 1930s warehouse occupying a prominent position fronting onto Bath Road.
The Richards Partnership developed a layout and massing study to consider the quantum of development that could be introduced onto the site. The favoured option agreed with the client’s team included the retention and refurbishment of the existing 1930s warehouse. The potential character and massing options were illustrated with the aid of European precedents.
