Masterplanning and landscape and visual impact assessment of a residential development on the outskirts of Gloucester.

This 20 hectare site is located on the outskirts of Gloucester immediately to the south and east of the settlements of Innsworth and Churchdown respectively.

The practice has been involved with this project since 2011, having initially been engaged to undertake a landscape and visual appraisal of the site. This was followed by a review of the Joint Core Strategy and the site’s green belt allocation credentials. The site, which is now to be removed from the green belt, will be allocated for residential development. The practice has been responsible for the detailed masterplanning of the site, working with other disciplines such as highways, ecology, archaeology and drainage.
