Design of a new headquarters and manufacturing centre for a world leading motorsport and technology company.

The Richards Partnership were appointed by Prodrive to develop a number of concepts for the layout of a proposed new company headquarters in Banbury, Oxfordshire. The brief was to create an innovative and ‘different’ external environment that would provide efficient access and movement for day to day working activities, an arrival area/entrance space for exhibition events and a display area for the company’s projects. The favoured design approach included a serpentine car park layout constructed with an integral SuDS system that drained the extensive paved areas and fed water into a shallow, rectilinear display pool alongside the building and its display and entertainment area.
