Triangle Park

A retail and business development near the city centre.

The Triangle was an old railway sidings a short distance to the east of Gloucester city centre. The site was isolated and cut off by railway lines on two sides and an elevated highway on its third boundary. Given the site’s former railway history and the potential for ground contamination, some care was taken in introducing planting and the movement and storage of surface water through and out of the site. Over 100 semi-mature trees were planted along the critical roads that feed the main development plots and a new pedestrian link was created under the railway to the adjoining residential area.
